We Do Not Excel at Time Management.

Gabe: "Hey, Gaia! I just had a great idea for the blog!"
Gaia: "Uh-huh."
Gabe: "Okay, so what we're going to do is, there's going to be a bear, right? And--"
Gaia: "Uh-huh."

Gabe: "Hey, are you paying attention to me?"
Gaia: "Uh-huh."
Gabe: "...Oh, hey, is that Minecraft?"
Gaia: "Uh-huh."

Gabe: "Let me see what you're building. Oh, that's... pretty... neat..."

MANY HOURS LATER

Gaia: "Hey Gabe! I'm ready to do an upadate now!"
Gabe: "...'Kay."
Gaia: "Did you hear me Gabe? I said that I've broken free of my virtual shackles."
Gabe: "...'Kay."

Gaia: "Oh, you're playing Skyrim, aren't you?"
Gabe: "...'Kay."
Gaia: "Don't you think it's time to... don't you think we should... is that a dragon?"

Gabe: "...'Kay."

Okay that is not the only reason we have been remiss in our bloggerly duty. But it is part of it. Also, you can substitute in Sims 3 and Batman: AC for Minecraft and Skyrim , respectively (though there are no dragons in Arkham City... unless you count the kind from TV Tropes).

Of course, now I want to see a picture of Batman fighting a dragon...

Feeling Catty

Purr purr purr purr purr purr purr

Purr purr purr purr purr purr purr
Gabe: "Oh, hey there furball."

Gaia: "Oh no! The kitty is being neglected! This is terrible!"

Gaia: "Don't worry. I love you. I'm not like Gabe, who ignores you and neglects you."

Gabe: "Listen to her, talking to the cat like it's people. That's just crazy. Don't you agree?"

---

Yes, Gabe isn't actually touching the cat in the first couple of panels there. For some reason, she likes to be petted from a distance like that. You don't have to touch, just wiggle your fingers in her general direction and she's happy.

She's a strange beasty.

Eye of the Kitty

Gabe: "Cat! You are getting pretty chubby. Being overweight could carry with it serious health risks! But don't worry, we're going to fix you!"

Gabe: "Perhaps I didn't phrase that very well."
Gaia: "What he meant to say was that we're going to put you on a diet and give you plenty of exercise!"

Gabe: "Good enthusiasm."

Gabe: "Okay, let's see how much weight we've taken off!"
Gaia: "According to this... exactly zero pounds."
Gabe: "What!? Seriously?"
Gaia: "I guess we'll just have to keep trying! Being healthy requires persistence and--"
Gabe: "Nah. This was pretty amusing, but I'm bored with it now. Let's go watch TV instead. Cat, you can go back to your usual routine of laying around between bouts of stuffing your face."

---

...Okay she's not that fat, it just seems like it when compared to our other cat, who is incredibly wiry, despite the fact that they eat roughly the same amount.
